Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy, stir in the oil. Mix mineral water with multivitamin juice and stir in as well. Add the orange or lemon flavor.
  2. Mix flour with baking powder and stir in. Spread the dough on a baking sheet of about 30 x 40 cm lined with baking paper and bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Let the cake cool on the baking sheet and then place it on a suitable surface for cutting.
  4. Print out a Homer Simpson coloring page, enlarge it and place it on the cake. Trim the contours of the face with a sharp knife.
  5. Color the marzipan with yellow food coloring and roll it out between cling film to the size of your face. Carefully place the marzipan blanket on your face, line the cake with it and cut off the excess marzipan.
  6. Halve the licorice snakes and pull them open, using them to trace Homer`s contours, eyes, beard, ear and hair.
  7. Use powdered sugar and milk to make a (not too liquid) icing for the eyes and beard (cocoa will be added later). Carefully brush the white icing into the eyes with a thin brush. Color the rest of the icing brown with cocoa and use it to paint the beard.
  8. Finally, place two tiny liquorice snails as pupils on the white icing.
