Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes with the skin through, then peel them off and cut into fine strips.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Mix a cup of hot vegetable bouillon with the spices, a pinch of pepper, nutmeg, salt and the onion and let it steep. Wash the cucumber, remove the ends, halve lengthways and also cut into fine slices. Put the potato and cucumber slices in a bowl. Pour yoghurt and the seasoned bouillon over them and mix.
  3. If necessary, season with salt and pepper.
  4. We serve Putenwiener with a dollop of medium-hot mustard.
