I prepare the products that will be needed. It is better to use the fish slightly frozen, so it will be easier to clean it. I have three mackerels with a total weight of 1 kg 350 g.
I bring the water to a boil.
I add salt, sugar, all the spices and herbs to boiling water. I cook the marinade for 10 minutes over low heat, covered. I cool it completely.
At this time I clean the fish. I remove my head and entrails, all partitions and films.
I wash the mackerel under running water. The fish should be perfectly clean. In its purified form, it turned out to be 930 g. I spread the fish in a suitable dish.
Pour the mackerel with chilled marinade along with spices and herbs. I press down with a load and put the fish in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
At the end of the day, lightly salted spiced mackerel is ready for use
