Instructions

  1. Since I love quark legs so much, but eggs and flour are always very high in calories, I just tried something. There are potatoes by the glass. These are already peeled and cooked (also useful for potato salad or fried potatoes). I grated these potatoes with an ordinary grater and then mixed them with a little quark (0.2% fat). I`m not entirely sure about the crowd. You have to do it according to your feelings. It shouldn`t be too much, otherwise the dough will be too mushy. I just left out the flour and eggs for the sake of experimentation, and it works that way.
  2. So put a bit of sunflower oil in a coated pan, let it get hot, and form small balls out of the dough, which you then press a little flat in the pan. The smaller the quark pods are, the easier it is to turn them afterwards. Let the quark legs sizzle well so that they get a nice crust and turn easily. Takes a little longer with a little oil, but it works. If they do stick to the pan, then sprinkle a little wholemeal flour over the next round.
  3. The taste test was convincing for me, apart from the slightly looser consistency, I didn`t notice any difference. Delicious with this dish is e.g., applesauce (natreen) or fresh fruit (apple, oranges, banana, etc.). Add a little cinnamon and the delicious dish is perfect.
  4. Nutritional information is based on oil, one apple and 100 g of applesauce.
