Instructions

  1. For a romantic evening, first prepare the ingredients:
  2. Soak the shiitake mushrooms in cold water for 1 hour and then cook for 15 minutes. Pour away the cooking stock, quarter the mushrooms.
  3. Wash the turkey schnitzel and pat dry and cut into fine strips, mix with the teriyaki sauce and the ketjap manis and leave to marinate during the further preparations.
  4. Now prepare the dough. To do this, beat the eggs with milk, flour, oil and salt to a batter, then stir in the mineral water. Place the dough in a container with a ladle on the dining table.
  5. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips and the spring onions into oblique rings. Place each of the ingredients in a bowl on the table, next to the wok and crêpesmaker. Put only the solid paste of the coconut milk in a bowl, place on the table with the mango chutney and sambal oelek.
  6. First heat the wok. Let some olive oil get hot and fry the turkey strips in it. When the meat is crispy, push it to the edge and pour the peppers into the wok. Cook for a few minutes, then gradually add the sprouts, mushrooms and finally the spring onions. When the vegetables are cooked, mix in the meat and season with the coconut paste, curry paste, mango chutney and a little sambal oil. Put the wok back on the lowest setting to keep it warm.
  7. Heat the crêpesmaker and brush lightly with oil. Mix the dough well again and bake a nice thin pancake or crepe on top. Place on a plate, cover with the filling from the wok, roll and then enjoy for two - or only enjoy together when the second pancake is ready.
  8. Of course, there are still many possibilities to vary with other types of vegetables or fruit (pineapple). I also find it very pleasant that you can sharpen individual pancakes to taste.
  9. It sounds like a lot of work, but it`s a lot of fun!
