Instructions

  1. Finely chop the chocolate and macadamia nuts with a large knife and set aside. Halve the vanilla pod lengthways and scrape out the pulp. Beat the soft fat, brown sugar and vanilla pulp until creamy. Add salt, egg, flour and baking powder and keep stirring. Stir in half of the chocolate and nut mixture.
  2. With a teaspoon, place small heaps of dough with a little space between them on baking sheets lined with baking paper and press in some of the retained chocolate-nut mixture. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C / fan 150 ° C / gas mark 2 for about 12 to 15 minutes.
