Instructions

  1. Peel the mackerel, remove the fillets from the bones and finely puree them with the cream cheese and lemon juice in a blender.
  2. Wash the chives, cut into fine rolls and fold into the cream, except for 1 tablespoon. Season the mixture well with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, clean and wash the lamb`s lettuce. Drain well in a colander. Remove the stalks from the tomatoes, wash and cut into eighths.
  4. Mix a creamy marinade from the wine vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper and oil, turn the lamb`s lettuce in it and serve on four plates with the tomato wedges.
  5. Cut off the mackerel mousse with two tablespoons, place next to the salad and sprinkle with the remaining chives.
  6. Toast or baguette goes well with it.
