Instructions

  1. Pour the boiling water over the chopped mango and the peeled, thinly sliced ginger and leave to stand for about 2 hours with the lid closed. If you don`t want the ginger to make the lemonade too hot, you can use it e.g., put in a large tea filter in the container. So you can get it out earlier if necessary.
  2. When the liquid has cooled significantly after the two hours, add the juice of two limes. Then strain the liquid, e.g. with a fine tea strainer (if you like the lemonade cloudy, you can add the juice and, if necessary, the pulp of the two limes even after straining) and add about 1.5 l of carbonated mineral water.
  3. Finally, add the third lime in slices or wedges to the lemonade. It is best not to add any mango pieces, as this can quickly leave ugly streaks in the lemonade.
  4. Now fill the finished lemonade in bottles, cool it down, serve it ice-cold and enjoy.
