Instructions

  1. First melt the dark chocolate for the dough in a water bath. Stir in the oil, remove from the water bath and set aside.
  2. Mix the flour with the cocoa and baking powder.
  3. Grease a baking dish or baking pan measuring 15 x 25–20 x 30 cm and put it in a cool place.
  4. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C top / bottom heat.
  5. Beat the eggs with the sugar until thick and creamy and stir in the chocolate mixture.
  6. Then briefly stir in the flour mixture and finally fold in the chopped chocolate and chopped walnuts. Fill into the prepared form.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, depending on the size of the baking pan, until the surface is firm, but a wooden skewer does NOT come out clean yet!
  8. In the meantime, for the glaze, stir the cream cheese with the syrup until creamy, then gradually stir in the coffee. The glaze SHOULD be very liquid!
  9. Spread this glaze on the brownies immediately after baking so that it can be absorbed nicely into the dough - then really only a thin layer of glaze remains. So that it is evenly distributed on the cake, it is best to use a brush.
  10. If you like brownies with a crust, simply leave out the glaze!
  11. Let the brownies cool down a bit and then cut them into pieces of your choice. Are still fudgy, soggy and creamy when cold!
