Instructions

  1. Use the mixer to stir margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs at room temperature until frothy. Then add the flour, baking powder and 125 ml milk and stir everything through again.
  2. I always put 12 paper molds in the hollows of a muffin tin and fill the dough into the molds - then you don`t need to grease and it looks nicer. First I fill 3/4 of the dough with a teaspoon into the molds, to the 1/4 of the remaining dough I add the cocoa powder and 25 ml of milk, stir everything and then put the dark dough on top of the light dough. Now I mix the dough a little with a small fork so that the dough is marbled.
  3. The muffins are baked in a preheated oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat (convection: 160 ° C) for about 25-30 minutes.
  4. When the muffins have cooled, I take them out of the mold and dust them with powdered sugar.
  5. Tip: It`s nicer for children if you melt some cake icing and spread it on it and then put colorful sprinkles, smarties or gummy bears on it.
  6. The batter would be long for 13 muffins. But so that the muffins don`t overflow, I always leave out a tiny bit of leftover batter - but you have to try that yourself.
