Cut the vegetables into large cubes, slices or rings and place in a baking dish or bowl.
Mix the tomato paste with the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice and sugar in a small bowl. Crush 1 clove of garlic and stir in. Cut the second clove of garlic into slices and stir in as well. Season with chili powder, curry powder, salt and pepper. Brush the vegetables with the marinade and leave to stand for a few hours.
Cook the vegetables in aluminum pans on the grill, this can take a while. Of course, the vegetables can also be put on grill skewers or fried in a little oil in a pan.
