Wash and clean the strawberries and portion into bite-sized pieces. Marinate with a level teaspoon of rose water in a bowl and let it steep for a while. It is better to start with a little rose water, otherwise it can quickly become too intense depending on your own taste.
Put the strawberries in glasses or bowls.
The marinated strawberries are a nice accompaniment to quark or yoghurt dishes, vanilla pudding or ice cream. They can also be decorated with cookies, chocolate, etc.
