Instructions

  1. Whip the cream very stiff and drain the cherries. Mix the mascarpone, sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolk with a wooden spoon. Then fold in the cream. Layer the cream alternately with cherries in a bowl. Finish with cream.
  2. Now heat a little butter in a pan and melt the sugar in it if you like. Add the almonds and roast slowly. Finally distribute on the cream. Chill again for at least 1 hour.
  3. Tips from me:
  4. With 6 - 8 people I do double to 3 times the amount. I always get on well with that. Only the amount of almonds always remains the same.
  5. Serve in large cups. For one thing, it`s a nice eye-catcher. On the other hand, the dessert is incredibly powerful and has a nice side effect that the head doesn`t think directly about the 1000 calories and you like to treat yourself to a second helping.
