Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes, rinse and cut into pieces, then put them in a saucepan, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt over them and bring to the boil covered with water. Cook for about 15 minutes with the saucepan closed. In the meantime, peel the garlic and cut into fine cubes. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the garlic over a low heat for about 5 minutes. Then mix with parsley and chives. Bring the milk to the boil. After the cooking time, drain the potatoes and put them through a potato press. Mix the mashed potatoes with the garlic butter and the milk. Season with nutmeg and salt.
