- Peel and finely chop the onions and brown in the pan. Peel sweet potatoes and potatoes and cook in salted water for about 20 minutes, then mash.
- Add the butter, browned onions, garlic and mustard and mix well until the butter has melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
