Jewish matzah – unleavened cakes made of flour and water, which are served instead of bread, and are also used to prepare various dishes. Traditionally, matzo is consumed during Passover.
Sift the 250 grams flour into a bowl and pour in the 100 ml cool water. Knead the dough with your hands until it comes together in a lump.
Divide the dough into 3 or 4 equal parts. Roll each part with a rolling pin into a thin layer. Pierce the surface all over with a fork. Repeat with the remaining dough pieces.
Place the matzo on foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C (356-392°F) for 12-15 minutes, until lightly golden and brittle.
