Peel the onions and peppers. It remains only to peel the potatoes and garlic for a side dish, but this is optional.
Let’s start with minced meat for cutlets. Rub one onion on a coarse grater, mix with breadcrumbs and leave for 5 minutes.
Then add minced meat, coriander, and salt to the onion with breadcrumbs. Stir and set aside, let the minced meat slightly marinate.
Now let’s prepare the filling. Cut the remaining onion into strips and fry in a small amount of vegetable oil until light golden brown.
Chop the cabbage into thin strips. Cut the red pepper into cubes. Add the cabbage and pepper to the onion, mix and quickly fry over high heat, without covering.
My cabbage is young, cooked very quickly. Finely chop the parsley and send it to the pan with the cabbage. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix the filling and cool.
We divide the minced meat into eight equal parts. From each part of the minced meat, we form a rectangular blank-flat cake (it is better to do this on cling film). Put the cabbage filling on one edge of the minced meat blank.
Using the film, roll the minced meat with cabbage into a small roll. Close the edges of the roll, and we get a cigar cutlet. And now you can fry the stuffed cutlets in a pan and serve with any side dish.
Or, like me, you can bake cutlets with a side dish. Prepare potatoes for garnish – cut into slices, put in a baking dish, and pour with vegetable oil.
Add garlic squeezed through a press, chopped dill, black pepper, and salt to the potatoes. We mix.
Put the cutlets with cabbage filling on top of the potatoes.
We send the form with potatoes and cutlets to the oven. We bake cutlets with vegetable filling with potatoes in the oven at a temperature of 180-200 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Focus on your oven, they are different for everyone.
The dish turns out to be hearty, fragrant, the stuffed cutlets with cabbage and sweet peppers are very juicy!
