You will cook such meatballs in a creamy tomato sauce all the time! I don’t add rice to the meatballs. They turn out to be very juicy, tender and insanely delicious!

Meatballs with Gravy (no Rice) Instructions

  1. Finely chop the onions and add to the minced meat. I put in quite a lot of onions, which makes the minced meat super juicy and flavorful.
Do the same with the garlic.
  2. Do not forget to salt and pepper the resulting mass. Add a fresh egg. Mix everything well.
  3. Fry the meatballs in a well-heated frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil, having previously rolled them in flour.

  4. Prepare the meatball sauce. To do this, mix tomato sauce or ketchup with sour cream (or mayonnaise). In any case, the gravy turns out to be what you need. Add a glass of boiled water and stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the well-fried meatballs with the cooked tomato-sour cream sauce and simmer the meatballs in the sauce for about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Meatballs in gravy are incredibly tasty, juicy and aromatic.
The best side dish for them, for my taste, is tender and crumbly mashed potatoes.

Bon Appetit everyone!
