Instructions

  1. Soak the toast. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Dice the mozzarella except for 3 thin slices for garnish. Drain the dried tomatoes and chop finely.
  2. Knead the squeezed toast bread, mince, egg, onion, garlic, herbs, tomato paste, mustard, paprika powder, salt and pepper. Knead the tomatoes and cheese under it. Shape into a long loaf.
  3. Place in an ovenproof dish. Lay the bacon close to the roast.
  4. Fry in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 degrees, convection: 150 degrees, gas: level 2) for 50-60 minutes.
  5. Wash and slice tomato. Take out the meatloaf and let it rest for 10 minutes. Garnish with tomato slices and the rest of the mozzarella.
