Cut the zucchini into thick slices and place in a bowl. Squeeze the lemon and pour over the zucchini. Peel and squeeze the garlic cloves or cut into small cubes and mix in a little olive oil. Season with salt, pepper and paprika.
Add herbs if you want. Mix well and let steep for about 1 hour.
Fry the zucchini slices on the grill or in the pan.
