Preheat the grill in the oven (IMPORTANT!). Cut the strawberries and sweeten a little with sugar. Put aside. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Finally stir in 50 g of sugar. Put the ice cream in a suitable baking dish before serving. Coat everything completely with egg white. Then put the whole thing under the grill until the meringue turns lightly brown (it really works). Serve with the strawberries and chocolate sauce.
The ice cream gets a creamy edge, but retains its cold core. For my brother`s wedding we will serve the whole thing decorated with sparklers.
