- Mince the garlic. Cut the tomatoes, zucchini, onion, and eggplant into cubes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced beef and prepared vegetables to the saucepan.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon tomato paste, both paprika powders, chilli flakes (or fresh red chilli), broth powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add water until the mixture is just covered with liquid.
- Cover with a lid and simmer on medium heat for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to prevent burning.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- If desired, simmer uncovered for 5-10 minutes more to thicken the sauce.
- Serve with basmati rice.
