Instructions

  1. Mince the garlic. Cut the tomatoes, zucchini, onion, and eggplant into cubes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef and prepared vegetables to the saucepan.
  4. Stir in 1 tablespoon tomato paste, both paprika powders, chilli flakes (or fresh red chilli), broth powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Add water until the mixture is just covered with liquid.
  6. Cover with a lid and simmer on medium heat for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to prevent burning.
  7. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  8. If desired, simmer uncovered for 5-10 minutes more to thicken the sauce.
  9. Serve with basmati rice.
