Instructions

  1. Press the garlic. Cut the vegetables into cubes.
  2. Put the oil in a large saucepan and add all the ingredients. Season with salt, pepper and the spices, add the tomato paste and mix everything together. Let the lid simmer gently for approx. 40 minutes. Stir every now and then so that nothing burns.
  3. At the end of the cooking time, season to taste again and possibly thicken the sauce a little.
  4. We serve basmati rice with it.
  5. I give a sip of water for the sauce over the vegetables and meat in the pot. I think that you can vary the vegetables as you like, e.g. with mushrooms or peppers.
