Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Beat the butter with the sugar with a hand mixer until frothy, gradually stir in the vanilla sugar, egg yolks, salt, flour and baking powder, hazelnuts and chocolate. Finally fold the egg whites into the dough.
  2. Grease a bundt pan or bun, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and fill in the dough.
  3. Bake at 180 ° C (top / bottom heat) for about 1 hour.
  4. Tip: shred the block chocolate by hand as much as possible (I hit the closed chocolate pack several times with a wooden hammer) and then shred the coarse pieces further in the electric shredder. Make sure that the pieces don`t get too tiny. The biggest ones can still be the size of a small pea.
