Fill a small microwaveable bowl 2/3/4 full with water. Then crack open a raw egg and carefully slide it into the water. Place the bowl in the microwave on the highest setting for 50 seconds. The time depends on how you like to eat your eggs. Then carefully pour off the water and the poached egg is ready.
