Put the rice and water in a microwave-safe bowl with a little salt.
Cook at 600 watts for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, dice the tomatoes.
After the 10 minutes add the tomato cubes, a little tomato paste (approx. 2-3 tablespoon) and ketchup to taste and cook for another 15 minutes at 600 watts.
After this time, the rice should be firm to the bite and the tomatoes should be soft. If not, you can add another 2-3 minutes.
Goes well with chicken legs and pan-fried foods, where you don`t get any sauce and the normal rice is usually pretty dry!
