Instructions

  1. Finely dice the onion. Chop the peppers into small cubes.
  2. Heat the oil in a deeper pan, sweat the onion in it, add the meat and fry until it is through. Then add the diced paprika and cook until al dente. Chop the tomatoes well with the juice from the can (ideally with a hand blender or similar) and also add to the pan. Top up with broth. Briefly bring to the boil.
  3. Wash the millet in a fine kitchen sieve and add. Let it soak for 15 minutes over low heat. Stir in the ajvar before serving.
  4. This is the variant that is also suitable for children. If you like it a little more spicy, you can use hot ajvar and season it to your own taste.
  5. For vegetarians: It tastes just as delicious without meat! Just take one more pepper instead of the meat. It`s also great to warm up. Simply reheat in the same pan with a little water.
