Trim crusts from the bread and soak in milk (2 tbsp) for 4-5 min. Squeeze out excess milk and add the bread to the minced chicken.
Press the garlic clove and add to the chicken along with the chili sauce, egg, salt, and black pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
Grease a baking dish and spread the chicken mixture evenly. Arrange the pineapple slices over the top. Bake in a preheated 180°C (356°F) oven for 15 min.
Remove from oven and top the pineapple with cheese slices. Return to oven and bake for 20 min more until the cheese melts.
Cut the casserole into portions and serve. If desired, drizzle with lingonberry sauce.
