Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and cut into cubes. Season the minced meat mixture with salt, pepper and sweet paprika. Briefly blanch the spinach leaves in salted water over medium heat, drain and cut into small pieces.
  2. Heat a pan with oil and fry the minced meat and onions in it. After a few minutes add the spinach and pour a little lemon juice over it. Remove from the stove and let cool down.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and spread the cream cheese in the middle.
  4. Spread the minced spinach mixture on top. Dice the feta and spread it on top of the minced spinach mixture.
  5. Brush the edges of the pastry with the egg yolk. Fold the dough up above the minced meat and bake it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper in the 180 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Serve with a fresh potato salad, optionally offer a tomato sauce for the puff pastry roll.
