Instructions

  1. One cup holds 125 ml.
  2. Place a saucepan with hot water, wait until it boils and dissolve the vegetable stock cube in it. Add the rice and cook according to the instructions on the packet. Tip: I always make the rice in the Thermomix. I personally like it better because the rice is only gently steamed. If you have a rice cooker, you can also make it in it.
  3. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Heat some oil or butter in a pan and fry the minced meat for about 2 minutes. Add the onions and fry for another 3 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Season the minced meat well with salt and pepper.
  4. While the minced meat is frying, halve and slice the cucumber and quarter or eighth the cherry tomatoes. After the minced meat and onions have been fried well, add the cucumbers and tomatoes, mix well and cook for another 5 minutes on a medium setting, stirring occasionally. Now add the cooked rice, stir and add seasoning if necessary. If you want, you can add parsley if you like.
