Instructions

  1. Put the sugar and water in a saucepan with a lid. Bring the water to the boil and dissolve the sugar by stirring occasionally. When the water is boiling and the sugar has dissolved, turn off the stove. Hang in all 4 tea bags and put the lid back on. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, squeeze the lime and lemon and mix the juices (if the tea is not drunk on the same day, squeeze out a little more lemon and lime juice and pass all of the juice through a fine sieve, otherwise the tea will become unsightly more quickly).
  3. After 5 minutes have passed, take the tea bags out of the pot and squeeze out vigorously. Stir the lime and lemon juice into the tea.
  4. Pour the drink into glass bottles and let them cool, then let them cool well in the refrigerator. Serve with ice cubes.
  5. Tip: I used the classic black tea from a well-known tea manufacturer. I buy the mint tea in the pharmacy because it is particularly minty there.
