Instructions

  1. Season the minute steaks with sweet salt, pepper and paprika. Peel the zucchini and then cut into thin strips with the peeler.
  2. Coat the minute steaks with the zucchini slices. I always took two per steak, but that`s a matter of taste. Then wrap a slice of ham around it and secure everything with a kebab skewer.
  3. Put the flour in a flat plate. Place the two eggs on a plate and whisk. Then mix the breadcrumbs with the herbs and put them on a plate. If you still have zucchini left, you can also cut or grate them very finely and add them to the breadcrumbs and herb mixture.
  4. Turn the meat first in flour, then in egg and finally in the breadcrumbs and herb mixture. It is really important that you press the breading down well. Now you can fry the meat. Let the oil or butter get hot in the pan and then slowly fry until golden brown.
  5. We also ate Bubenspitzle (Schupfnudeln) and tomato and spring onion salad.
