Wash the iceberg lettuce, bell pepper, tomatoes and cucumber (peel) and cut into small pieces, if desired, core the cucumber. Peel the onion and cut into rings. Arrange the salad in a bowl and mix, spread the onion rings on top.
Mix the dressing with Miracle Whip, yoghurt, crushed garlic, herbs and the drained, torn tuna and season with salt, pepper, sugar and lemon juice or vinegar. Put the dressing on the salad and let it steep for a while in the refrigerator. Mix well before serving.
Delicious with it: grilled meat, baguette bread or another fresh white bread.
If you like, you can add boiled ham cut into strips, grated cheese, boiled eggs or corn. If you prefer to have plenty of dressing on the salad, you should increase the amount of yoghurt and maybe use a little more Miracle Whip.
