Beat the yolks and hot water until creamy; then stir with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy.
Beat the egg whites to stiff snow and add to the yolk mass; Likewise, sieve the flour mixed with the baking powder and the ground almonds over the mixture. Carefully fold in everything!
