Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with sugar until frothy. Add an egg and stir until frothy. Add the 2nd egg and stir until frothy. Stir in the quark, stir in the rice pudding, add 1/8 liter of milk and keep stirring. Stir in lemon zest and apples.
  2. Grease the baking dish with butter. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and smooth it out. Pour 1/4 liter of milk over it and DO NOT stir in. Depending on your taste, distribute small flakes of butter on the surface. Put everything at 180 degrees top / bottom heat in the non-preheated oven. Now wait approx. 1 3/4 hours and then check the color of the surface. The casserole is best when the surface is nice and dark brown.
  3. When it is done, pour something directly onto the plate with a large spoon and add the cherries with juice. A delicious, sweet meal is ready.
