Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into pieces and fry in oil over medium heat with the chopped onion and squeezed garlic in a saucepan or tagine.
  2. Add all the spices and roast briefly. Let it stand for a few minutes, add the stock and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and add the chickpeas and peppers cut into pieces. Simmer for about 20 minutes. Stir from time to time. Season the chicken to taste. Stir in the cream and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  3. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet.
  4. The dish also tastes good with bread instead of rice.
