Instructions

  1. Cut each ball of mozzarella in half (like a roll) and brush one half of each with 1 tablespoon pesto. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme and top with sliced tomatoes. Fold it up again and wrap each one with 1 slice of ham. Put the mozzarella burgers in an ovenproof dish coated with a little olive oil.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 10 minutes.
  3. I serve with a green salad and ciabatta. The burgers taste best when the cheese is about to melt.
  4. Tip: Instead of tomatoes, you can top the burger with red, diced peppers.
