Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar together well. Gradually add the eggs, beat until frothy. Stir in chocolate sprinkles, sifted flour and baking powder, then add 150 ml of mulled wine. Keep stirring until a loose batter is formed. Fill the dough into the prepared (greased or - better - lined with paper liners) muffin tin and bake for about 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees in the preheated oven. Then let it cool down and glaze
  2. (Glaze: mix powdered sugar with the rest of the mulled wine and stir well). Finally, the muffins are sprinkled with chopped almonds.
