Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the cherries, cut the apples very finely, then soak them separately in the lemon juice.
  2. Wash and dry nectarines, cut into small pieces. Puree the nectarines and cherries. In some devices this has to be done in stages.
  3. Put the fruit pulp and very finely chopped apples in a high saucepan. Mix in the lemon juice and the preserving sugar well. First add a teaspoon of the spice. Bring the whole thing to the boil while stirring - then let it simmer for a few minutes according to the instructions on the package. Try the spread to see if you want to add seasoning. Then add a teaspoon of honey cake spice.
  4. Pour the spread into prepared, hot-rinsed twist-off glasses. Close well. Let cool upside down for 5 minutes. Then turn it and enjoy the rest that didn`t fit in the last glass.
  5. Honey cake spices taste very different: They contained: cinnamon, allspice, anise, coriander, oranges, star anise.
  6. The mass results in a total weight of about 1200 g of spread.
