I always get a liver cake for any holiday. It’s tasty, beautiful, and inexpensive. You can decorate a liver cake for any occasion. I offer you my New Year’s version of this wonderful dish.
Cut the liver into pieces and put it through a meat grinder.
Add the egg, pepper, salt, baking soda, and mix everything.
Add the milk and mix. Then add the starch and flour. Mix well so there are no lumps.
Heat a frying pan, pour 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Pour a liver pancake with a ladle into the heated oil. Brown it over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes.
Flip over the pancake and fay the same way on its other side. Then fry all the pancakes in the same way. Cool them down,
Finely chop the onion. Pour the vegetable oil into the frying pan and put the onions in. Brown them over medium heat. Leave them to cool down.
Cook the sauce. Combine the fried onions with mayonnaise. Place the cakes one on top of the other and coat each of them with the sauce.
Finely chop the scallions.
Decorate the last layer with grated boiled eggs and mayonnaise. Then decorate the liver cake to your liking. In this case, it is a Christmas tree. It is convenient to make a decoration with a stencil. Let the liver cake soak in the fridge for 3-4 hours.
