Instructions

  1. Make a smooth kneading dough from the ingredients for the dough and wrap it in foil and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  2. Then roll it out on flour and cut out stars. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  3. Cut out a piece of dough out of half of the stars with a small cutter (similar to the mulled wine stars). This is best done on the sheet metal so that the star cannot warp.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at approx. 180 ° for 10 - 12 minutes until golden yellow. Let cool down.
  5. Dissolve the nougat over a water bath. Brush all the stars with it, dust the cutouts with powdered sugar and, if necessary, sprinkle with gold tinsel. Place the powdered sugar star with staggered rays on the nougat star. Use a small spoon to put some more nougat in the recess. Let dry.
