Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water to taste. Please do not add any fat to the pasta water, otherwise the sauce will no longer stick to the pasta. Simply pour off the pasta water, stir the still moist pasta with the last drops of pasta water into the sauce and serve immediately.
While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a pan and sweat the onion until translucent. Then add the shrimps and fry them briefly (swirling the pan). Now add the garlic and season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the cream, herbs and tomato paste and cook everything through briefly.
Arrange the spaghetti on plates and serve immediately.
