Melt the nougat in a water bath and spread it on the dough, press the cherries into the nougat at a distance of approx. 3 cm.
Roll out the marzipan on top of the powdered sugar and place on the nougat mixture, pressing lightly if necessary. Place in the refrigerator for two hours, remove from the mold and cut into 3-4 cm squares. Dust with cocoa and store in a cool place.
