Bring 1 liter of milk, nuts, almonds, sugar and cinnamon to a boil in a saucepan. Mix the starch with milk in a cup and stir into the hot milk. Turn the stove down and continue stirring over a mild heat until everything has set a little.
Fill into bowls and put in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
If desired, you can decorate the whole thing with a few whole nuts or chocolate shavings.
