Instructions

  1. Peel the garlic cloves and dice them. Heat the oil in a pan and roast the garlic and chopped walnuts in it until they have turned a golden yellow color. This can take about 3 minutes. Wash the pepper piece and dice very finely.
  2. Mix the low-fat quark with the yoghurt in a bowl and stir in the walnut mixture and the pepper pieces.
  3. Refine the spread with the chives and season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and sugar. Serve with toasted slices of wholemeal toast or bread.
