Instructions

  1. It is best to grind the cheese finely in a moulinette or another food processor; the finer the cheese, the better the patties hold together.
  2. Mix the oat flakes and cheese well in a bowl, add the oil and milk and mix together. Season the mixture with chopped fresh or dried herbs and salt or herb salt. Knead everything well with your hands until you get a malleable mass. Then shape 4 patties out of this, make sure that they are not too thick and do not fall apart too much at the edge, so press them flat and firmly.
  3. Then fry the patties in oil or margarine until crispy brown on both sides.
  4. We prefer to eat the patties with mashed potatoes and some vegetables or homemade zucchini chutney.
