Prepare a yeast dough from the first 6 ingredients and knead vigorously for about 10 minutes. Then let the dough rise until it has significantly increased its volume.
Now push onto a floured work surface and form about 6 rolls out of them and let rise again for about 30 minutes.
Brush the rolls with milk and sprinkle with poppy seeds, sesame seeds or whatever you like. Bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 185 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
