- Chop the garlic, knead with quark, eggs, oat flakes and cheese and season to taste with salt, pepper and vegetable stock. Let it soak for 20 minutes.
- Cut the chives into rolls, work them into the mixture and use them to form meatballs about the size of a finger.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meatballs over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
- This fits e.g., Béchamel and similar sauces or tartar sauce and also leaf salads.
