Mix the buttermilk, mayonnaise, lemon juice and garlic and homogenize.
Cut the spring onion into thin rings and add. Then finely chop the herbs of your choice and mix with the other ingredients. Chives, parsley and dill are of course particularly suitable.
In addition, mint gives the dressing a great freshness; a few sheets are enough. The Mediterranean greens are less suitable, except for basil. Finally, season with salt and pepper.
I don`t recommend reducing the amount of mayonnaise or even replacing it. It just doesn`t taste good.
The dressing is best fresh. However, it will probably last a few days in the refrigerator.
