Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the garlic.
  2. Heat the milk and cream in a saucepan over a medium to high temperature for approx. 2 minutes. Add macaroni, garlic and grated turmeric and stir in. Pour approx. 1 teaspoon nutmeg into the pot (regardless of whether it is freshly grated or from the shaker) and season with salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to the boil, then simmer for 10-15 minutes (or until the pasta is al dente), stirring again and again.
  3. Add the grated Gouda and Cheddar cheese and mix with the cooked macaroni. Season to taste again with salt and pepper.
