Instructions

  1. Peel the onions and cut them into rings. Halve the bacon, fry in 1 tablespoon oil, remove. Fry the chicken breast fillets briefly on each side, season with salt and pepper and remove. Heat the rest of the oil in the frying fat, fry the onions until translucent, mix with the chopped parsley and thyme, salt and pepper.
  2. Put 2/3 onions in a baking dish, place fillets on top. Dust the rest of the onions in the pan with flour and sauté briefly. Stir in wine, 2 - 3 tablespoons of water, cream and stock, simmer for approx. 3 minutes, season to taste and pour over the meat. Grate the cheese and sprinkle with the bacon.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes. Serve sprinkled with chives!
